Gypsy saved my hair! Her knowledge in working with thick wavy/ curly hair left me beyond impressed. My hair was feeling a bit sad but after seeing Gypsy a few weeks ago, my hair is feeling better than ever. A bonus that she resolved my issues without loosing really any length. She will be the only one cutting my hair from now on!
I had gone to get my hair color corrected . The color I had before going for color correction was far much better. I don’t understand what colour they gave me . My hair has never been so damaged in the recent years . I spended $ 450 . I feel so bad . My hair was done by gypsy.
I send an email explaining everything but did not get any response.
They are the most unprofessional people. I had to spend 400$ again to get my hair color corrected from another salon.
Do not get any kind of service from this salon. They are very unethical and unprofessional people.
Stephanie has been helping me fix up a balayage I got done a while back at a different salon and she's been absolutely amazing! Highly recommend going to her for colour work! Overall, Citrus has been a pleasure to go to :)

Kat is beyond amazing! She sat with me for about 30 minutes explaining why I may have not received the hair color I wanted at other salons. We discussed options and she was very clear on what my expectations should be. She went above and beyond. Also, the assistants (im so sorry i cant remember their names!) help with gourmet lattes, snacks and washing/ styling my hair was lovely. I definitely felt spoiled. I will definitely be making the trip from Washington to get my hair done here from now on!
I only wanted to come here for my haircut because of some of the reviews as well as the Instagram pictures of the stylist's haircut models, whom I booked an appointment with. Right after the stylist wanted to begin the work, I mentioned that I had just washed my hair at home a few hours ago. However, she insisted on washing it again. Then, she started to dry my hair with the hair dryer brush, which was extremely painful the way she pulled my hair so many times, even though I told her that my hair is very thin and sensitive. This went on for about 45 minutes, for each part of my hair before cutting them.
After that day, I tried to love my hair because, to be honest, it looked nice and I received good compliments. However, after about two weeks, my hair went out of style and the waves did not last any longer.
I'm not really satisfied with this place overall. It also costs a lot compared to my old hair salon, which I used to go to before my favorite stylist moved out of Vancouver.
I had recently got a hair cut at this salon by River. I had returned after having an amazing experience a year ago by another stylist. However, this one left me a little disappointed.
After just having the initial conversation of the hair style I desired, I was asked one time, at the very start after just starting to trim a bit at the back while my hair was wet “how’s it looking”, I said “good so far”.. then that was the only conversation had. At the end it was as if she was in a rush, didn’t ask if I wanted any changes or how I feel it looked. Then after a blow dry, sent me on my way. I’m a pretty easy going customer with my hair, but it was also my birthday (not that she knew that) and have always been offered to have my hair a little styled (quick straighten or curl) before leaving. I had to quickly go home to straighten before going out to dinner.
I will still be a returning customer but just wanted to share my experience to ensure customer service only goes up from here :)
My master stylist, Lora, was tasked with my complex colour correction, and she did phenomenal work. I trusted her, and she proved beyond a doubt how capable she was and how skilled she is. I am grateful for the knowledgeable receptionist who listened to my needs and recommended Lora for the job. The salon itself is immaculate and well-organized.
Appreciated bonuses included snacks offered before and during my appointment and feminine products in the washroom, which are both thoughtful touches.
